Health Ministry at AACRC
The Health Ministry committee in conjunction with the Parish Nurse seeks to empower AACRC members with the ability for self care while achieving or attaining an optimal level of health. The parish nurse provides spiritual support to members of the church family across the life span while promoting health and illness preventing behaviors and an understanding of the relationship between lifestyle attitudes, faith and well-being.
Through education, advocacy, and support, we aim for the integration of faith and health so that congregation members can experience shalom–a God centered wholeness that enables one to live in harmony with God, self, and others.
